Take Your Dog to Work Day

Today was take your dog to work day. Well, national take your dog to work day is really something more like June 22nd, but the person who always organizes it for us will be out of town that week, so we moved it. (We're the government. We can do things like that.) But you still have time to show up at work next Friday with your dog.

People who don't have dogs brought their children. As if children are equal replacements for dogs. But, I guess the kids had a great time playing with all the pups, so I can't really blame them.

We had a big picnic for lunch as well, and carrying food and a leash and watching a dog... well, it required too much thought and too many hands, so I didn't get very many good pictures. But, I did take a few from my cubicle.

I can't wait for next year. It's really the most fun day at work, ever. And you can see everyone with their dogs and how some of those people completely share the same temperament and personality with their pets.

(She made for a good guard dog.)

By the way, everyone thinks Remy is sweet and has a very soft, fantastic coat. At least three people asked what I feed her. Just so you know, her diet is made completely of unicorn horns, four leaf clovers, and rainbows. (Oh, and she got a bath the night before.)

She also got dressed up for work in a nice blue bandanna because she heard that the police wear blue.

End Blog.

This is fantastic. I just was telling Linda about the bandana when I saw that you then mentioned it. Glad I know that you dressed her for work... like I said you did.

We really have CJ to thank for that. She's the one that gave it to Remy so that she could dress up and look all purdy.

Looks like this was a fun day for sure! Remy looks right at home there, maybe you can get her on the payroll too.
